Get ready for a wild ride with Roommates, the latest comedy to hit the screens. This 108-minute laugh fest, directed by Chandler Levack, is all about the ups and downs of living with a stranger – and trust me, it’s a real rollercoaster. With a talented cast, including Sadie Sandler and Chloe East, you’ll be hooked from the very first scene.

The plot of Roommates revolves around Devon, a shy college freshman, who asks the cool-girl Celeste to be her roommate. As their friendship blossoms, things quickly take a turn for the worse, spiraling into a war of passive aggression. With a comedy genre that promises laughs, Roommates takes you on a journey of self-discovery, friendship, and the art of living with someone who’s basically a stranger.

What we loved about Roommates is the incredible chemistry between the leads, Sadie Sandler and Chloe East. Their performances are top-notch, bringing depth and nuance to their characters. We also appreciated the comedy elements, which had us laughing out loud at times – who hasn’t had a totally awkward encounter with a roommate, right? The film’s portrayal of college life is also pretty spot on, capturing the ups and downs of navigating relationships and finding your place in the world. Plus, the comedy genre is well-represented, making it a great choice for fans of the genre.

However, there were a few things that didn’t quite work for us. At times, the pacing felt a bit off, with some scenes feeling rushed and others dragging on a bit too long. We also would have loved to see more character development from the supporting cast, including Billy Bryk and Martin Herlihy – they had some great moments, but we wanted more.

All in all, Roommates is a fun, lighthearted watch that’s perfect for a night in with friends. With its talented cast, hilarious comedy moments, and relatable portrayal of college life, we’d give it a solid 7 out of 10. So grab some popcorn, get cozy, and get ready to laugh with Roommates – just maybe don’t watch it with your actual roommate, unless you want to stir up some drama!
