As the story unfolds, we’re taken on a tense and unpredictable journey, with twists and turns that will keep you guessing. With “Anyone? There is …….” as the initial cryptic message, the stakes are high, and the tension is palpable.

What we loved about High Forces is the non-stop action and the impressive performances from the cast. Andy Lau shines as the fearless Gao Haojun, while Zhang Zifeng brings a touching vulnerability to her role as Xiaojun. The movie’s pacing is well-balanced, with a mix of intense fight scenes and emotional moments that add depth to the story. We also appreciated the directorial touch of Oxide Pang Chun, who masterfully weaves the complex plot threads together.

However, there were a few aspects that didn’t quite hit the mark. At times, the dialogue felt a bit cheesy, and some of the supporting characters were underdeveloped. Additionally, the High Forces runtime of 115 minutes felt a tad long, with some scenes dragging on for a bit too long.
